What does Bordesley Green Girls' School look like?

Our school has:
5 Science laboratories
4 specialist Design Technology and Art Rooms
4 full size computer rooms and computer 'cluster rooms' each with a range of machines
a fully stocked library and reading room
music and drama facilities
Careers room equipped with computers
sports facilities which include a gym and outdoor pitches
a new Sports Hall and Business and Enterprise Suite.

Letters going from strength to strength!

Over the last few weeks Mrs Mitchell has been extremely busy posting the huge amount of letters and parcels off to France. We have also received photos from our primary school of the pupils and the school and from college les provinces, lots and lots of presents. These have included CDs, toys, sweets and coins. So, thank you VERY much. We really look forward to the postman coming!

Over the next few weeks, the E-Twinning club is putting the finishing touches to our powerpoint presentation (with music) about our school and about Birmingham. As soon as it is ready we will sending it off - by e mail of course - to our partner schools.

E-Twinning Club up and running! All year 7 and 8's welcome!

After a few weeks of hard work, letters and presents (!) have begun to be exchanged between pupils, in particular those girls writing to our partner school in Blois. Year 7 Green 1 are working hard to catch up and we have just sent away a big parcel to Bordeaux. They have also just sent us some fabulous pictures of their school and of themselves.
We have also set up an E-Twinning Club for those girls who want to get a bit more involved. It takes place on Tuesdays in Room 24 and is for Years 7 & 8. In this time we will be updating this blog and creating movies and presentations to send away to our 2 partner schools. So PLEASE come along and join in.
